A little bit retro and naturally socially distant, a drive-in is the perfect addition to the 2020 Alt AddamsFest line-up!
The South Avenue train station lot will host four drive-in movie screenings:

Friday October 23, 6:30PM: It’s a Halloween pajama party for the families! Get comfy, put the kids in the car, and settle in for – what else? -- The Addams Family movie, set right here in New Jersey.

Friday, October 23, 9:00PM: The second shift is for the braver audiences, with a screening of the classic thriller Psycho.

Friday, October 30, 6:30PM: Pajama family screening of Hotel Transylvania.

Friday, October 30, 10:00PM: Calling all Brads and Janets (age 18+)! AddamsFest tradition lives on for a late-night screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- featuring the return of the Friday Nite Specials shadow cast!

DRIVE-IN GUIDELINES: OCTOBER 30
AddamsFest is excited to welcome you to Dudley’s Drive-In on Friday, October 30 at the South Avenue Train Station parking lot. The following guidelines have been created to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
ARRIVAL

The check-in line will begin along South Avenue, starting near the Westfield Seafood entrance to the lot. Please have your e-ticket or a printed ticket ready to present to our check-in crew. Cars without tickets will not be admitted.

Arrival times:

Hotel Transylvania: Plan to arrive between 5:00PM and 5:30, as the check in process and parking does take some time. Please keep in mind that you can leave your car after check-in to enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants. Prior to the screening, we will have Halloween music playing, a photo opportunity with the “Bed of Nails” from Associate Sponsor Shovlin Mattress, and a table of giveaways from our Premier Sponsor, Wonder. Face coverings must be worn when circulating in the parking lot. The film starts at 6:30PM, at which point all attendees need to be back in their vehicles.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Please arrive between 8:45 and 9:30PM. The film will begin at 10:00PM.

Event staff will assign each car a parking spot number as they are checked in. Cars will be lined up in the order they arrive and will be directed where to park. Cars will be parked in the front and SUVs/trucks will be parked in the back rows so there is no obstruction of view for guests. If you would like to be parked next to friends/family, then you must arrive at the same time and be lined up consecutively, as we cannot hold spots or wait for other cars to arrive.
DURING THE MOVIE

Out of courtesy to our neighbors, please do not honk your horn in the parking lot.

All guests must park facing the screen, and attendees must remain inside their cars during the screening (no sitting outside/on top of vehicles).

Portable restrooms will be available on site. Guests are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes. Anyone visiting the portable restrooms must wear a face covering.

New Jersey law requires engines to be turned off. Idling is not permitted. Please plan accordingly with blankets, jackets, etc.

Headlights must be turned off before the movie starts so everyone can enjoy the show.

Audio will be delivered through FM transmitter. If you are concerned that your car battery may not last the duration of the movie, please bring a portable battery operated FM radio.

Note that refreshments will not be sold. Please bring your own food and beverages, or order take out (pick up only -- no delivery to the event site) from any of the local restaurants ahead of the movie’s start time.

Guests are encouraged to bring garbage bags with them for any food wrappers or containers and dispose of those bags at home. No littering on the property is permitted.
ADDITIONAL EVENT RULES

All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or transferring of tickets, except for those who can no longer attend Psycho screening due to the revised start time.

No alcohol, smoking, or pets are permitted.

Any disruption or disregard of the guidelines will result in removal from the event.

At the conclusion of the movie, please wait for directions from the event staff so we can facilitate an orderly exit. All cars must exit the lot at the end of the movie. Cars cannot remain in the lot overnight.
